FAQ

  • What topics are covered in the 6-week program?

We help you decode job postings, identify where your strengths align, and prepare for interviews. You’ll learn how to match your current skills to real studio needs, recognize areas that need reinforcement, and build confidence through hands-on practice. Topics include client communication, studio workflows, career positioning, and creative leadership basics.

  • Why do I need this if I just graduated?

Because graduating with great grades or a strong portfolio doesn’t mean you’re ready for real-world creative work. We focus on everything school didn’t teach you: how studios actually operate, how to navigate client feedback, and how to work within fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

  • How is this different from my university’s career services?

University career centers tend to be broad and often don’t know the creative industry inside out. We’re from the field — so instead of generalist advice, you’ll get studio-specific insights, real feedback, and tools you’ll actually use in a design or advertising job.

  • Who is behind this program?

Creative Launch Kit was built by a seasoned studio director with 15+ years of experience hiring, mentoring, and leading creative teams. It’s shaped by real conversations with employers, clients, students, and educators — and designed to prepare you for what studios really expect.

  • Why should I trust this program?

Because we’ve been on both sides: hiring juniors and being one. The program isn’t based on guesswork — it’s built around real hiring practices, common gaps in graduate readiness, and feedback from industry professionals who want better-prepared talent.

  • What’s the format and time commitment?

The core program runs for 6 weeks with weekly live sessions (about 90 minutes each), plus optional assignments, short readings, and interview or portfolio prep depending on your track. We also offer a 1:1 coaching format by invitation if you want a more tailored deep dive.
